A weekend with " Week 22 - BoBunny Style"

Helllooooo...

For some reason i thought I had shared this already , but looking back through my blog I missed it somehow... So here it is now!!

This is a Misc Me spread that I created for the BoBunny blog using their gorgeous Primrose collection. I used both the premade Misc Me cards and also the Primrose embellishments too boot.

To create this layout I used the Primrose Misc me journal box set , which I just love and get so much use out of!! I love the fact also that there are lager 8 x9 cards in the pack also. So versatile.

I pulled out my glitter glue for these cards also and traced around a fair few of the elements to give it a little more.. sparkle.. cause you know you can never have enough **cough** **cough**

This is quite a girly collection ( as you might have spotted ha ha ) but I was still able to scrap the little men in my life in this week. I included a picture of my son showing off hi new Spiderman undies ( God love him) and then the new arrival of my nephew Nebraska.

I also slipped in a little hand made card from Abigail of some little flowers that she drew for me ♥♥

A weekend with " Love"

Helloooo...

Well today I managed to just play around and do some experimenting!! I am still a little sure if I am totally pleased with this or not.. Either way at least I have a little moment scrapbooked for my children. I am sure the design will not bother them later on lol..

I have been holding onto the black bold script writing alphas for some time, as I loved them when I bought them but them found them really overpowering when I was trying to add them to layouts. So I used to skip over them. But today I made the effort to try and use at least one of them . So the title LOVE seemed appropriate to use here :)

This was also the first time I have used Gelatos on a layout. I have owned these for a very long time and even sold off a heap off them early in the year as I found I prefer to work with my beloved watercolours. But again I wanted to try and push myself and use something I have around here. I really like them now and the intensity of colour it gives.. I am not buying any more though as I really must just keep using what I have!!

I also splashed around some of the cut files that I have pre made here as I really can not get enough of them still.. If they take your fancy too you can check them out and purchase them HERE

Thanks so much for stopping by.. I would love some tips or any tutorials you know off on how else I can use Gelatoes on my layouts.. PLEASE link me up :)

Till next time

Much love

A weekend with " Stash Busting your project life kits"

Heloooooooo.....

Well it was my turn yesterday to be up on  the Scrappy Canary blog to share my way of using up every last piece of your Pocket life kits. For this  particular layout I used the gorgeous July Day Trip Pocket life Kit.. full of scrumptious Terra Collins goodies.

If you would like to read up on how I personally did some "stash busting" then please head on over and read the blog post :)

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Becky Higgins Project life party in Sydney early in the year . Originally I was going to create a mini album about the day although in the end I just decided to add in an extra insert into the week. So below shows both sides of the extra insert. I am happy I went this way instead as I actually managed to fit in all the important information that I wanted too.

A weekend with " Suprise Mini Album" - Throwback Thursday!

Heelllooo...

Well I have been busy and inspired again this week with continuing my mini album crush!! This time it was with the little older BoBunny Suprise! collection.
This year my youngest turned 3 and as any mother knows this is a little/big milestone as you no longer officially have a baby in the house. For me it was certainly a time to think about where all those baby years went too!!

So we made quite a fuss for Hunter's birthday and had his very first Kindy party, and we actually moved his birthday a week later. This was because his father works away for long periods of time, and I really believe that it is important celebrate family events altogether. So we kept hush hush on his actually birthday and made a really big deal the following Sunday. I am so glad we waited too till we were altogether as it was that much more special!!

BoBunny has some fantastic new releases this Summer and one of those new items is the fun new Glimmer Spray. I used it for this project to alter the seam binding tape tat I ave attached to the front cover. I used the "Frost" colour and simply sprayed the over the ribbon and allowed it to dry!

I needed to add in some more photo real estate also when it came to Hunter's Kindy party, so I altered a BoBunny Misc Me 8 x 9 page protector. I simply cut it up and popped it through the rings ( above picture) . I love doing this to add a little more interest also into the album!

Then I also added some little jump rings to some of the Surprise! Trinkets that had little loops on the top. Like the one in the picture above. This just acts then as a hanging charm.

I also needed a little more picture real estate on this chipboard page, so from the 8x9 Misc Me page protector I also cut off a 3 x 4 sleeve. Then I simply used my tiny attacher and stapled it to the side of the page.

I also went around most of the Noteworthy elements and outlined them with glitter glue, just to add a little more sparkle and dimension. I find that by doing this my pieces do not look so flat. I also went through the album with the new BoBunny Captured stamp set. They are the perfect little stamps to fit in small albums!

Then the last for the last of the album page , I made a bow with coloured seam binding tape and stapled it to the tags Then i glues down a gem to cover the staple.

I love it when I finally have the right photos to match collections that I have been holding on to for some time.

I still have papers left over from this collection and actually made a few bright flowers!1 I have a couple of layout ideas in mind so will be playing with that over the next few days :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I love to read your comments.

Till next time

A weekend with " Masters - 2 Crafty Chipboard"

Helloooo..

Well I have another Scrapbooking Memories Masters layout to share with you today :)
This layout was in the Vol 17 No 2 edition.

This for me was a little different to what I normally use - colour wise - and really enjoyed this time working with the soft and pretty colours from the BoBunny Primrose collection. I am starting to notice that my style is changing and is really depending on the collections that I am using! I am really like it too as I am playing differently with my supplies and actually using up more of what I have on hand here, instead of buying "stuff " to suit the project I am working on .

This time our assignment was to use the awesome 2crafty chipboard pieces that were sent out to us generously!! From the pack I decided to use the butterflies, the title , the circleframe and the gorgeous leaves and swirls.

To alter my chipboard title  and the circle frame I simply used some American Crafts embossing powder - in the pink glitter version.

I raided my BoBunny flower stash and created this little cluster. I also added glitter glue to the some parts of the chipboard pieces to help them blend in with the embossed glitter pieces.

I had lots of fun layering with watercolour, gesso, stamps and modelling paste!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment if you do .. They make me so happy to read and I appreciate each and everyone of them :)

Till next time
Much Love
